These terms cover buying gym equipment from Alpha Fitness, whether you order through this website, over WhatsApp, by phone or in the showroom. Please read them before you place an order. Last updated September 2026.
1. Who we are
Alpha Fitness supplies home and commercial gym equipment in Kenya. Our showroom is at Alpha Fitness Gym, Thindigua, behind QuickMart on Kiambu Road, Nairobi. You can reach us on +254 718 040612 or at sales@alphafitness.co.ke.
2. Prices
All prices on this website are in Kenya Shillings and are the showroom price at the time you see them. Prices can change, particularly on imported stock where exchange rates and freight move. The price that applies to your order is the one we confirm when we accept it, not necessarily the one shown when you first browsed.
Unless we say otherwise in writing, prices exclude delivery, installation and any charges specific to your site.
3. Quotes
A written quote from us is valid for the period stated on it. Where no period is stated, treat it as valid for fourteen days. Quotes for full gym fit-outs are based on the room dimensions and requirements you give us, and may need revising if those change.
4. Orders
An order becomes binding when we confirm it, not when you submit it. We confirm stock and a delivery date before an order is accepted. If something you ordered turns out to be unavailable, we will tell you and offer an alternative, a revised date or a full refund of anything already paid.
5. Payment
Payment terms are agreed when we confirm the order. The website checkout currently offers cash on delivery only; other arrangements are made directly with us. For commercial orders, equipment imported to order or custom fit-outs, we may ask for a deposit before we commit to the order, and we will say so before you agree to anything.
Goods remain our property until they are paid for in full.
6. Delivery
We deliver across all 47 counties. Delivery cost depends on weight and destination and is confirmed before payment. Delivery dates are given in good faith and are not guaranteed, because couriers, traffic and site access are outside our control. Where a date is critical to you, tell us before ordering so we can say honestly whether we can meet it.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please check what arrives while the delivery team is still present and tell us immediately about any damage or shortage.
7. Installation
Commercial equipment is delivered, assembled and commissioned by our team where the order includes installation. You are responsible for site access, a suitable floor and adequate ceiling height. We will tell you the requirements before delivery; if the site cannot take the equipment on the day, a return visit may be chargeable.
8. Returns and cancellations
Our returns and refunds policy forms part of these terms. Equipment made or imported specifically to your order, and equipment that has been installed and used, is treated differently from stock items, and the policy explains how.
9. Warranty
Equipment carries the warranty stated on your invoice. The period differs by machine and by manufacturer. Warranty covers manufacturing defects; it does not cover wear items, damage from misuse, damage from unstable power supply, or faults caused by a lack of routine maintenance such as treadmill deck lubrication.
To make a claim, contact us with your invoice, the machine model and a description of the fault. We will inspect before replacing.
10. Product information
We describe specifications as accurately as we can, and manufacturers occasionally change them without notice. Photographs are for illustration; colour and finish can vary. Where a dimension or a capacity matters to your decision, ask us to confirm it in writing before you order and we will.
11. Servicing and repairs
We service and repair equipment, including machines bought elsewhere. Repair work is quoted before we travel wherever possible. Parts availability varies by brand, and we will tell you if a machine cannot be economically repaired rather than running up a bill.
12. Liability
Gym equipment carries risk if it is used incorrectly, loaded beyond its rating or installed on an unsuitable surface. Please follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the weight limits stated for each machine. We are not liable for injury or loss arising from misuse, unauthorised modification, or use of equipment that has been reported faulty and not repaired.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Kenyan law.
13. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including shipping and customs delays, transport disruption, power failure or extreme weather. Where such an event occurs, we will tell you and agree a revised date or, if the delay is unreasonable, refund you.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when we confirmed it. The date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute. We would far rather resolve a problem by talking to you first.
